Surety of the Word

Surety of The Word:

The very first lesson topic we put out was the “Surety of the Word”. So many do not know that the number 7 is the number of perfection and that if God says something 7 times, He has perfected it. They also do not know that God says His Word is sure 7 times in the scriptures. So we are putting these back in the newsletter, so you can know all the other topics and scriptures are sure because these 7 are the guarantee on them:

  1. Numbers 23:19

God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?

  1. Psalms 89:34

My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips.

  1. Psalms 119:89

For ever, O LORD, thy word is settled in heaven.

  1. Isaiah 55:11

So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.

  1. Jeremiah 1:12 (ASV)

Then said Jehovah unto me, thou hast well seen: for I watch over my word to perform it.

  1. 1 Peter 1:24-25

For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away: (v25) But the word of the Lord endureth for ever. And this is the word which by the gospel is preached unto you.

  1. Matthew 24:35, Mark 13:31, Luke 21:33

Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

Notice:

The last scripture is repeated 3 times, which is the mark of “Completion”, and established according to the Biblical terms of “Legal Witnesses” (In the mouth of two or three witness everything shall be established) giving added emphasis and confirmation to what God is saying here.
